The NAA was founded in 1991 as a forum for managers of concert and event venues with a minimum indoor seated capacity of 5000. The NAA has through membership of its venues, links with the European Arenas Association. MOM provides the NAA certificate and Diploma education programmes for this forward-looking association.

MOM partners Oncourse in the delivery of crowd management and other safety and security areas.

MOM provides 25 level 4,5,6 and 7 (undergraduate and postgraduate courses) credit rated by ENU. The CEO of MOM is a Professor of Public Policy at the institution and the partnership includes the writing and delivering of courses, provision of lectures for the public and students and working win conjunction with the Scottish Police in various projects.

Yourope are the European Festival Association and MOM have worked with them for many years. The CEO of MOM and Henrik Nielsen from Roskilde Festival lead the Yourope Event Safety group (YES) in providing: two seminars per year in different locations in Europe, panels at various events on health and safety, contributing toward conferences, a safety policy and a range of other activities including a conference.

MOM has a partnership with SOS which supports the delivery of a pan European undergraduate programme in security management. This programme has been credit rated by Edinburgh Napier University.

Professor Chris Kemp from MOM is a founder member and steering group representative of the Yourope Event Safety Group. The group works tirelessly with European Festivals to improve health, safety, crowd management and security.

MOM works in partnership with the SES group supporting the company in their quest to professionalise the security industry. Projects, tenders, new policies, staff training, the academy, reports for various stakeholders and working on live events are all areas where the MOM supports this developing company.


Event Safety Planning Ltd (ESP) was founded by Chris Hall and Steve Riches, in 2004 and has established links in the events industry that allows ESP, to freely communicate amongst other like minded professionals, in order to provide for and influence the event safety industry globally. MOM have partners with ESP to focus on the relationship between event and safety planning at all types of events across the globe.

Cerub PR specialises in working with thought leading individuals and companies to help them raise their profile with their target audience through a variety of communication channels including traditional, digital and social media. Using a range of approaches from pitching clients to comment on current news stories to offering commissioned articles to suitable news outlets and writing blogs to create content for digital media, Cerub PR helps its clients achieve their goals.

iSSUE (Swiss Institute for Urban and Event Safety) is an institute promote the promoting current academic knowledge in urban design, security issues and crowd management. iSSUE provides consultancy and training in planning, organising and managing all elements of security in an urban context or in crowded spaces. iSSUE is a partner in numerous academic research projects and benefits from a network of international collaborators. By its original positioning, iSSUE brings out innovative practical solutions customised to contemporary challenges focused on both urban and event security and safety issues.


IBIT aims to provide professional training and education to everyone involved in the planning, organisation and management of crowd safety. An interdisciplinary team of experts develops the practical content of the IBIT educational program and is available for consulting services covering all areas concerning crowd and safety management. Services offered by IBIT cover all management levels and combine both theoretical frameworks and practical experiences to a highly professional extent. IBIT is involved in various national research projects and member of various associations related to crowd safety management. IBIT is based in Bonn, Germany.

Roskilde Festival is one of the biggest and most loved festivals in the world. MOM has worked with the festival for over a decade and alongside Henrik Nielsen, Chris Kemp the MOM CEO has driven the Yourope Health and Safety Group to support festivals in their quest to become safer for both the internal and external customers. Roskilde Festival is active in the development of new innovations continuously seeking to make its environment as safe as possible. MOM has worked with Roskilde on many areas including pressure in the audience, hostile vehicle mitigation, scenario planning and the auditing of security.
